Where the Streets Become the Stage.

Since 1999, the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival has welcomed world-class street theatre to the historic heart of Walyalup/Fremantle, on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Nyoongar people. Across four days, the city’s distinctive streets and laneways are transformed into an open-air stage where the world’s best street artists invite audiences to unleash their unusual and encounter performance at its most inventive.

FISAF presents contemporary, boundary-pushing works that reward curiosity and spark connection. Along the way, visitors can savour Fremantle’s renowned food, bars and hospitality, with many spilling out of venues and into the streets, creating a festival experience that’s as much about place as performance.
